The Wildwood golf club in Texas is one of the finest around. An aged golf course which has been around since the 60’s. This beautiful and tame golf course has 18 holes and is regulation play. The course is located in Village Mills Texas and if you are in the mood for having some fun with the driving range there is that option as well. It is a public course so the green fees are not as much as one would think.
Occasionally Wildwood golf club Texas may offer some specials in which you can get a discount for the day. Also it is great for beginners and those with a serious handicap. We definitely like this as being one of the most moderate priced Texas golf courses.
There are also 3 tees for each hole so you can decide which level of play you would like to try. Overall this place gets a 4 1/2 stars for great game play.

River ridge golf course Houston
The River ridge golf course in Houston Texas is a favorite of mine and I know a handful of other people that love to bring new players too. This course is great for beginners and experts especially with the 4 tees on each hole. River ridge has been open since 1998 and was designed by Former PGA Pro Jay Riviere who is very well known and liked for his designs.
This is just another course where you can enjoy some natural beauty off of the Brazos river. River Ridge is located south of Houston and west of Katy a short drive. There are 3 9 hole courses over the open area of this golf club and all are welcomed.
We love to see golf courses like this because it really encourages new people, and helps them to enjoy some decent golf along with those more skilled to improve their games.

Redstone golf club Humble Texas
Much can be said of the Redstone golf course in Humble where there are some nice resorts and communities in Texas. Humble golf courses have always been nice and Redstone is a great one. This course is just one of many owned by the same company including Shadow Hawk Golf Club, The Houstonian Golf & Country Club, BlackHorse Golf Club and Vanderbilt Legends Club. Many professional tournaments have been held at this course and it is a favorite of a lot of the pros.
The first tee was designed by Rees Jones and is just a beautiful touch. Redstone is a course that is a bit newer than most but has a lot to offer when it comes to regular events and competitions weekly. The prices vary and you can fill out a form to receive emails for special rates at times. All and all we love this course and think it is worth a great shot.

River point golf Texas
One beautiful golf course in Texas is river point located in Houston Texas along the Brazos river. It has no homes built around it, and if you were looking at getting a Texas Golf home you should look at another post on this site. There is a lot of water surround the River point golf course here in Texas and included with this is a lot of wildlife which really heightens the enjoyment of golfing here.
River Pointe has a lot of quick change ups with pin type greens. Almost every shot takes some thought because of all the water that surrounds it. This golf course is also authorized by the Texas golf association so you can be rest assured that this can be a real certified challenge for you and whoever you bring along. We know you will just love this course.

Texas golf packages
The best deal on Texas golf packages are usually found in the right season. Many times there are great packages in cities like Dallas and Austin which have some amazing golf courses and tough terrain. But the prices can be amazing. There are only so many places online to get really good rates, and finding them is not always the best for what you need.
Houston Texas has some decent golf courses but I would not say it has some of the best courses or resorts, but it certainly does have some good ones outside of town. You will just need to really check and see what sites can give the best deal on Golf packages not only in Texas but in Arizona Hawaii and other places which you may decide to go to.
Some people say that Texas golfing is one of the best places, but Mexico is also going to be really hot soon, and people are lining up to get in on the action. We will have more information soon on that.

Texas Golf Resorts Best
Texas has some great places to golf despite some peoples thoughts of it being hot all year round which is not true. There are some great golf resorts in Texas such as in Austin and around San Antonio which are just a few favorites. One particular favorite is Barton Creek which is located near Austin Texas and has proved to be one of the most beautiful golf courses around.
There is golfing towards El Paso as well even though you might think of El Paso as desert like. It too has some great places. There are not too many Texas golf resorts towards the west side of Texas but there are more in the central part of Texas and also along the Gulf coast which offers a nice breeze for golfers throughout the day.
Our favorite picks would have to be around Houston since there are many suburban areas which provide outlets for city people to enjoy a nice day at a golf course or even to take a drive a little ways away and stay at a resort just to get away from it all.
